What are some great pet friendly hotels in Seattle, WA?

we're going on vacation with our 2 chihuahuas and we're looking for a pet friendly hotel downtown or around the center anyway. not crazy expensive. also, an hotel that is ok with letting them stay in our room when we're away for a couple of hours. thanks! What are some great pet friendly hotels in Seattle, WA?
I don't know of ANY hotels/motels that allow dogs to stay in the room when you're not there. Especially dogs as yappy as Chihuahuas are. I would just bring them with you for sightseeing. Pike Place Market is very pet friendly for walking around. The other option would be to check them into a pet motel while you're in town. Many PetSmarts have boarding that's very inexpensive.

Most of the LaQuinta hotels allow pets - but again - don't leave them in your room. Not only against the rules but VERY annoying to anyone left there listening to them yap all day long. Here's some in the Seattle area - http://www.lq.com/lq/proxySearch.do?sear鈥?/a>What are some great pet friendly hotels in Seattle, WA?
this is a tough one because downtown Seattle doesn't have very many green areas for your dogs to go to the bathroom. I know the Seattle Hilton allows dogs with a huge deposit but you don't want to go there because the only park to pee in - freeway park is home to many bums. Downtown is just too cityish. Your best bet would possibly be the Residence Inn which is close to the water, has small little grassy areas for your dog to pee in and don't charge an arm and a leg to have your dog there. It's downtown but not where all the shopping is. I've stayed before and it was so easy having our dog.
Look for extended stay type places, like Marriott Residence Inn. These are usually the places that allow pets, and might even have pet services.
