Two years ago, we went to Myrtle Beach. We didn't want to leave our dog at home by himself, so we took him with us. But we could not locate any pet-friendly hotels. We did manage to locate one particular place that was pet-friendly and it was also ocean-front, but it was a complete sham and was nothing like they have advertised themselves to be, and would not refund our money. They even told us to go talk to the magistrate if we had any complaints.
Not too interested in finding hotel locator websites, because I haven't found any of them useful for finding pet-friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach. But if you know of any that are helpful, and have good hotels in them, please do share!
I would like to know ahead of time which resorts do take pets, from people who have stayed in them, if at all possible.
I don't want to get rooked again, lol.
Anyway,
Thank you all very much for your responses. A Best Answer will be chosen. Are there any pet-friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach?
There's a Red Roof Inn there that allows pets -- it's a couple of blocks from the beach, though.
Looks nice -- I'd check it out!

Hope that helps! Are there any pet-friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach?
I've spent a lot of time in MB and seems like there should be dozens of them. All of the hotel locator sites I've used usually say pet friendly for more $$.....or not.
motel 6 lets you bring your pets
The LaQuinta does but that is over by Broadway at the Beach.
Compass Cove, which is oceanfront does with a deposit.....that is supposed to be an ok place to stay according to trip advisor.
