Me and my boyfriend are planning to go to orlando. from october 24 to the 26. Basically two nights.Preferably close to universal studios/horror nights? So we're planning to take our doggy Doby. She's a small dog. About 13 poundsCan anyone advice/tell me of any pet friendly, nice and affordable hotels in Orlando, florida? ?
just call around to various hotels in the area and ask if they will allow pets with a pet deposit. It may be $100 or so, but you might be surprised that some will accept pets. I don't recommend leaving her alone, but I suppose if the hotel knows she is in there it should be ok. There are kennels on WDW property (one is by Fort Wilderness campground) that you can board your dog at if you are doing Disney World.
I can save you the hassle -- WDW hotels do not allow animals, and only certain loops in the campground allow animals. Can anyone advice/tell me of any pet friendly, nice and affordable hotels in Orlando, florida? ?
The three on-site hotels at Universal Orlando are extremely pet-friendly. They even offer room service for your pet!
However, they are on the upper end of the price scale for Orlando. Of the three, Royal Pacific Resort has the least expensive rates.
On the other hand, when you stay at one of these hotels, you get front-of-the-line privileges at the theme parks!
Contact Automobile of America AAA by phone or online. They keep a complete listing of places that accept small dogs. Beware these places charge an extra fee 20 to 50 a night for the dog. What do you plan to do with the dog during the day?. You cannot leave him in a hotel room unattended.
There is a Holiday Inn on International Drive (I think 6200 block or so) that is pet friendly, clean, and pretty much everything you would expect from a Holiday in. I-Drive is tourista central so you'll be close to everything.
