Motel 6 We take our dog everywhere with us. Motel 6 is dog friendly and doesn't charge extra for her. Most of their motels have been remodeled. I definitely wouldn't take the pet into a hotel without notifying the desk staff. I work in a hotel and we charge 200.00 if a pet is found. Find strictly only pet friendly hotels. I work at a Holiday Inn and most aren't pet friendly, although some are. So, each specific locations varies with most hotels.
All La Quinta Inns are pet friendly and do not charge extra. They are a lot nicer than mote 6 and still moderately priced. See site below for others also.
it's only a puppy, take him/her on the sly!!! don't tell them. it'll make the holiday more fun, having a secret puppy.
